Web Accessibility at Texas A&M
Texas A&M University is committed to making its websites and other electronic information and services accessible to all, regardless of disability. There are three simple reasons for this commitment:
- It’s the right thing to do.
- It’s the smart thing to do.
- It’s the law.
The goal is for all Texas A&M websites and web applications to comply with the Web Accessibility Policy (below).
Web Accessibility Policy
Texas A&M University websites and web applications must meet the accessibility requirements of WCAG 2.0 and Texas Administrative Code (TAC) 206.70 and 213. See Texas A&M's Web Accessibility Standards, Texas A&M Web Accessibility SAP (29.01.99.M0.01), and A&M System Accessibility of EIRs Regulation (29.01.04) for details.
Web Accessibility Coordinator
Texas A&M's Web Accessibility Coordinator is Charley B. Clark, Associate Vice President for University Risk and Compliance. The primary role of the Web Accessibility Coordinator is to monitor the University’s compliance with web accessibility policies. Please direct any questions regarding this policy, requests for accommodation, or complaints to the Web Accessibility Coordinator at (979) 862-7737 or ADA.Coordinator@tamu.edu.
